问：at first与first of all 的区别都有哪些，请您详细讲一下，谢谢

答：1)at first=at the beginning,表示“当初，起初(但后来……)”，与后来发生的事相对照。例如：

At first I didn't want to go, but I soon changed my mind.

2)first of all表示“首先”;“最重要的”，说明顺序，是时间上或一系列行动的开始，后面往往接next, then等。例如:

First of all, open the windows.

first有四个词形：adj. adv. n. pron. 这里主要谈adj.和adv.

first adj. 序数词第一的

Example: He was the first student who arrived at the classroom.

adv. 首先

First I fed the baby. Then I made myself a sandwich.

at first是一个介词短语在句中充当状语

首先

At first I was nervous, but I soon started to relax.

补充一个firstly 修饰句子的副词首先

The plan was not practical, firstly because of the cost, and secondly because local people did not support it.

通常可互用，但有差别，需查词典体会。
